Safe Spaces Act Assessment
Psychological impact assessment for gender-based sexual harassment under the Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313).
What this assessment is
We assess and document the psychological effects of gender-based sexual harassment to support complaints and proceedings under the Safe Spaces Act.
The law behind it — RA 11313
RA 11313 is the Safe Spaces Act of 2019, sometimes called the “Bawal Bastos” law. It protects everyone from gender-based sexual harassment.
It covers harassment in many settings: streets and public spaces, online, and in workplaces and schools. Examples include catcalling, wolf-whistling, unwanted sexual remarks and jokes, stalking, persistent unwanted advances, and online sexual harassment.
The law makes clear that these acts are not harmless — they can cause real emotional and psychological harm.
How we help
